I wanted to start a place to share all the deals and offers I come across for saving money in New Zealand. Even though this blogs primary audience (70%!!) is in the United States, my Kiwi readers are super important to me. Living in this beautiful place has a high price tag, so let’s all help each other out. If you come across a great deal or offer that has a long life (not that mince is $5/kg at Pak’n’save until tomorrow) add it in the comments and I’ll amend the post.
This will be a living document and updated as frequently as possible. As it grows bigger, I’ll try to organise it better. But for now, it’s a start.
NZ Deals and Offers
Harvey Norman – $5 Free for Newsletter subscribers
Sign up to their email newsletter and get a $5 welcome coupon. You can only use this online so I made my purchase online and chose to collect the item from the store. Just go to the Harvey Norman website and a pop up will occur for you to start the subscribe process and get your coupon.
Powershop – $150 Free with friend referral
Get $150 credit when referred by a friend (as in me – ’cause we’re mates!!). Use this link to sign up to Powershop before 31 August and you’ll get $150 credited to your power account. It’s $50/mth over 3 months. The best thing about this offer is that there’s no minimum amount of time you need to stay with Powershop – so you can shop around after your 3 months are up. I’ll get $50 towards my power bill too if you use my link.
Get 5% off your bulk refilled items when you bring your own containers. Don’t worry about the weight of the containers – the staff will take the tare weight of your containers before you fill them.
I sometimes get a $3 coupon code pop up when I visit The Warehouse online. This has only ever happened on my laptop – never on mobile!
OK, so Ebates isn’t a New Zealand company, but anyone can use Ebates to get cash back via Paypal and it’s a great way to save if you shop online from the U.S. (and who doesn’t??). I’ve got an in-depth Ebates review here, or if you just want to get started, use this link to join Ebates now and you’ll get $10 FREE towards your first qualifying purchase of $25 or more (note: that’s USD).
